This snippet guides folks using Docker Desktop (for macOS or Windows) through getting access to the underlying Linux VM and inspecting the /var/lib/docker folder to find which containers are secretly holding onto a TON of logs. This example doesn’t actually have any, but it shows how you’d easily find a container that has gobbled up your disk space.

Replay in terminal

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/457783 457783.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 457783.cast 457783.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
