This demos an installation of Ignition 7.9.20 on Ubuntu 20.04 followed by an upgrade to Ignition 8.1.18 with special focus on adding auto-commissioning environment variables to the systemd service configuration via an override file.

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/504491 504491.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 504491.cast 504491.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
