Ignition Container - Memory Dump

In this short demo, we take a memory dump from an Ignition Gateway running in a container. Note that jmap must be run as the user that is running the java process. In this case, the Ignition Gateway is using a custom UID/GID and the memory dump process is aligned accordingly.

Use with stand-alone player on your website

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/537906 537906.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 537906.cast 537906.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
