Using metaci to run builds and scale MetaCI on Heroku to handle the concurrency

This demo builds on the prior screencast which shows setting up a new project repo in MetaCI and configuring the 3 main build plans used by CumulusCI. In this demo, we kick off a bunch of builds from metaci’s CLI and then scale the MetaCI app on Heroku to handle the build load. Then, we scale it all back down to run on free dynos again.

Use with stand-alone player on your website

Download asciinema player from the releases page (you only need .js and .css file), then use it like this:

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/144450 144450.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 144450.json 144450.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
