CumulusCI + MetaCI Early Preview

This is a demo of setting up the entire CumulusCI development flow on an instance of MetaCI (previously mrbelvedereci) using the new MetaCI CLI. The demo was recorded against an early prototype.

For this demo, I used a clean local MetaCI site which I had already connected to the metaci CLI via metaci site connect. I already had sfdx configured and connected to my default devhub. The Salesforce project repository used for the demo is available publicly at https://github.com/SalesforceFoundation/CumulusCI-Test

Replay in terminal

You can replay the downloaded recording in your terminal using the asciinema play command:

Use with stand-alone player on your website

Download asciinema player from the releases page (you only need .js and .css file), then use it like this:

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/143755 143755.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 143755.json 143755.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
