This is an example of doing the following:

  • serving an image dataset on Github Pages with the JSON API.
  • using a simple script to programmatically download the data, either in json or the dicom images themselves

From here you can be empowered to either build a tool for others that uses their data, or provide your own data to others. The goal is to make it easy for anyone to share and create small tools/software to work with these datasets. Please check out the human friendly Dicom Cookies, or take a look at the code that generates it on Github and help develop this tool! Collaboration and PRs are awesome, as is feedback.
