Lectura del primer llibre de Harry Potter en català amb el programa propi EdWords per a llegir documents de text pla (obtinguts convertint el llibre electrònic .epub en .txt).
La gravació mostra com cada paraula té un cert color, corresponent a l’estat de coneixement d’aquesta. Aquí blau vol dir “conegut”, lila/violeta vol dir “entès”, taronja és “suposat/assumit/encertat” i vermell és “desconegut”. Les paraules en blanc no estan plasmades/representades en el sistema (en el projecte on es guarda el vocabulari). Finalment hi ha l’estat “ignorat” que es representa amb el color rosa, útil per noms de pila o conceptes pròpis del món del llibre en qüestió (per exemple paraules inventades).
També es mostra com s’introdueix l’estat de coneixement de paraules noves (no presents en el vocabulari utilitzat pel programa) directament des del lector de llibres (sense fer servir el qüestionari, que seria una altra possibilitat).
