RISC OS Pyromaniac is an operating system which allows you to run RISC OS modules and binaries. This means that you can test things out, run programs, build things and otherwise use your Linux (or macOS, or Windows) system for RISC OS development.

The RISC OS build environment adds cross compilation functionality to this. When Pyromaniac is included in the build environment, a few small changes can allow you to run RISC OS binaries as if they are regular Linux tools.

Here we demonstrate a RISC OS AIF file which has been made executable. It now runs when you try to execute it under Linux.
