emacs is started with -Q it runs in a termux-based app called nix-on-droid here when I go back on the line currently edited and try to insert different text the cursor jumps involuntary to the left, to be seen here when I start typing the word useless ctrl-l rearranges the text temporarily which is kind of but not a satisfying workaround

Generate GIF from this recording
