I implemented the Screener from Hey in (Neo)Mutt

The Screener is my favorite feature on Hey.com. As I enjoy Neovim and its Vim Language (and Motions), and Hey feels very slaggy at times, I wanted to try could build a Screener, with a little help from my AI friend 😉.

There is also a little error at the beginning of the video, usually, you would start from the Screener (ToScreen) and either screen in or out, and not Inbox. I show that later, though, in the video.

Replay in terminal

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/622628 622628.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 622628.cast 622628.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
