OpenStack must-gather is a tool that enables supportability for an existing podified openstack control plane. Through this tool is possible to retrieve:

service logs (pod logs)
service configuration, masking sensitive information present in the k8s Secrets
how services appear in the ctlplane

This quick demo is an overview of the development workflow on this tool and how the must-gathering result can be navigated once it’s produced.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/610295 610295.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 610295.cast 610295.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
