Bible multi languages, free, offline, no advertising, in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German (partially) for Terminal.

Easy to use with quick searches, parables, articles, cross references, favorites, history.

As there is not a lot of Bible applications in Terminal, my app can be useful.

Bibles included: King James Version, Segond, Ostervald, Diodati, Reina Valera, Almeida, Schlachter.

Works with Python and Ncurses.

The app is very low in memory and CPU usage.

Please share the info with your friends. Time is short. Tribulations are at the door.

For the story: the app was created after Bible Multi The Light (Android) and before Bible Multi The Life (Android, iPhone, iPad, Big Sur, Mac, Linux). You can find them on their stores.

Works on Linux, Mac, Raspberry, arm, amd with several Python 3+ versions (3.7+)

Several packages: PyPI is the best solution for ARM64/32.

Replay in terminal

You can replay the downloaded recording in your terminal using the asciinema play command:

Download asciinema player from the releases page (you only need .js and .css file), then use it like this:

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/487815 487815.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 487815.cast 487815.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
