This screencast compares Pure ZSH theme to Powerlevel10k with Pure styling.

It’s almost impossible to tell a difference between these two themes. One notable exception is Git prompt latency. Whenever an untracked file is created in a Git repository, it takes some time for Pure to add * to mark the repository dirty. Powerlevel10k adds and removes * instantly.
