Just shows off some of the basic functionality of vctui :-)

This Demonstration will start vctui, with the --address flag pointing to my cluster (under my desk). The Password isn’t supplied as vctui will use the environment variable VCPASS to populate the password.

Green = powered on / Red = powered off / Grey = suspended

  • FIRST: Filter the VMs (ctrl+f) and find VMware vCenter and examine it’s status
  • SECOND: Re-filter for my server cluster (ctrl+f), delete (ctrl+d) and old VM and refresh (ctrl+f)
  • THIRD: Create a New VM (ctrl+n) and refresh (ctrl+r)
  • FOUR: Power on new VM (ctrl+p) and refresh (ctrl+r)
