In the video I did the following: * started tmux

split the window horizontally with ctrl-a -
changes the active pane with ctrl-a k
split the window vertically with ctrl-a |
started RabbitMQ
changed the pane back to original one
opened Vim
zoomed in the pane containing Vim with ctrl-a z(note the ^Z symbol in the status bar)
zoomed out again (ctrl-a z)
detached tmux
attached the same session again to show it’s intact

While this site doesn't offer GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed run the following command to create GIF file:

agg https://asciinema.org/a/203712 203712.gif

Or, if you already downloaded the recording file:

agg 203712.cast 203712.gif

Check agg --help for all available options. You can change font family and size, select color theme, adjust speed and more.
