Terminal version of Spacehoarder in action. We run sph on a copy of /usr/share put under /tmp, and it calculates the disk usage of each directory while we browse the directories. Afterwards we display files under selected directories, and delete a couple of the largest (topmost) files.

While this site doesn't provide GIF conversion at the moment, you can still do it yourself with the help of asciinema GIF generator utility - agg.

Once you have it installed, generate a GIF with the following command:
