This screencast demonstrates how you can use SaltStack and Google Compute Engine. It uses the GCE plugin [http://salt.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/cloud/gce.html] for salt-cloud to create 4 virtual machines, a Compute Engine Load-balancer, and open up a firewall rule for HTTP traffic.
